Samsung will likely launch three new foldable phones this year in London. While most of the attention is currently on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 could also bring some noteworthy improvements.
Let us check out what they are.
Galaxy Z Flip 8 design and display rumors
According to a new report, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 will be slightly wider. It is also expected to feature a crease-free foldable OLED display and a new hinge mechanism. The phone is said to be lighter as well, weighing around 180g, down from 188g for the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Most other aspects of the upcoming foldable phone are expected to remain similar to its predecessor.
The Galaxy Z Flip 8 is likely to retain the same camera setup as the Galaxy Z Flip 7: a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP front-facing camera. It could also feature the same 4,300mAh battery and 25W wired charging.

The device is expected to use the Exynos 2600 processor, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It will likely run the Android 17-based One UI 9 software. Similar to all other high-end Samsung phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 could get operating system updates for up to seven years.

Samsung is also reportedly considering a slight price increase for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 compared to its predecessor. However, this rumored increase currently applies only to the South Korean market, and it is unclear whether pricing will rise in the US and other regions.
A crease-free display is expected to appear across all three upcoming Samsung foldables. However, Samsung would not be the first to achieve this. OPPO has already introduced a âZero-Feel Creaseâ with the Find N6. Apple is also rumored to launch its first foldable iPhone later this year, possibly under the iPhone Ultra branding.
